Sigiriya

The climb is tough but absolutely worth it. The frescoes are stunning and the view from the top is breathtaking. Go early to beat the heat!

A must-visit in Sri Lanka. We hired a guide at the gate and learned so much about the history. The lion paws platform is iconic.

Crowded on weekends but the site is well maintained. Bring lots of water and wear good shoes. The water gardens at the base are beautiful too.
